Today I went to search for a new find. There are a lot of places where you can find old, used furniture. One of my favorite places are the 2nd hand-stores. It's a real treasure hunt! Usually I don't look for something special. I tend to let the piece of furniture find me. But I'm always sure to find my next "protégé" because people are so in a hurry to discard items that are still usable. For sure, they don't look nice at first sight, but with a little imagination, you can transform an uggly desk or drawer into a real beauty.
I haven't decided yet what to do with this desk. I'm sure it will seat in my living-room long enough before I make my mind. So keep coming, I'll show you the transformation in the coming weeks.
