So once all of the repairs are made your "treasure" is ready for decoupage. Below a few examples of furniture I did.

Preparation is everything -fixing loose parts and preparing the surface for decoupage or painting - is more important than anything. It's like building a house on sand, if you skip this step!

The following tools are required:

1. new hardware and screws
2. screwdriver
3. wood filler
4. putty knife, paint scraper
5. sandpaper, sanding block
6. white carpenter's glue
7. power drill
8. TSP or other deglossing
9. rubber gloves, tack cloth
